The composite rebar with a smooth lacquer surface is made using the UP-1 accelerator with nano-sized crystallization centers

Composite rebar manufacture according to GOST 31938-2012. 

Composite rebar manufactured using the UP-1 accelerator saves resin and the percentage of roving in the finished product can reach 88 percent.

Composite vs Steel?

  • Composite rebar is absolutely non-corrosive and chemically resistant to acids, alkalis, seawater, and other substances;
  • The tensile strength is 3 times higher than the strength characteristics of Class A-III steel reinforcement (the index of the ultimate strength of metal reinforcement is 360-390 MPa, composite – 1100-1300 MPa);
  • It has high elastic properties; 
  • It is very durable, the service life of the material is more than 100 years; 
  • The coefficient of thermal expansion corresponds to a similar indicator for concrete, which makes it impossible for cracks to form during temperature fluctuations;
  • It has a low thermal conductivity, 100 times less than that of steel; 
  • It is resistant to low temperatures, does not deform;
  • Сomposite is radio-transparent, dielectric;
  • Magnetically inert, does not change its properties under the influence of electromagnetic fields;
  • Less weight than metal fittings by 5 times, and with equal-strength replacement by 9 times;
  • Supplied in any construction length to meet the requirements of the project and customer;
  • The use of composite reinforcement increases the service life of structures up to 5 times compared with the use of metal reinforcement; Cheap logistics (due to low weight and delivery in coils).
